There’s going to be stress in life, but it’s your choice whether to let it affect you or not

— Valerie Bertinelli.

Have you had a lot on your to-do list but your health was getting in the way? Heres how I survived today.

My friend Kennedy sets up a monthly meetup of cool people.

He puts a bunch of friends and anyone in his network together — in a cozy spot and everyone is left to have some fun.

Ps4, Xbox, Jenga, Chess, Monopoly, Scrabble, Name it. In past meetups, I had the chance to do a Travis Scott karaoke.

Kennedy picked me up at home so we go to the venue, he lives close-by.

Suddenly a feeling of sickness and nausea swept through me, I was shaking from my core during the ride, my head was spinning and joints started to ache.

It felt like Malaria, Typhoid, Pneumonia all at once.

It was too late to chicken out and miss padUP.

Winners don’t quit, right?

I would come to regret this choice.

I adjusted the passenger seat and got some sleep.

The drive was 1 Hour 30 Minutes. The venue was ready, Kennedy started offloading the games and consoles from the car.

My condition did not improve, I knew I had to get help.

In the past when I feel his way, my goto relief is Panadol Extra 500mg X 2

I sat in the car and took a nap after buying and ingesting the meds.

Like magic, I was feeling better in a few Minutes.

TIME TO WORK

I had my computer with me so I sat in the lounge and got to work. I had to complete some tweaks to a website I was building for a client.

It was grueling pushing myself through the day till the night time. The sick feeling was back again at 6 pm. Head spinning, throat dry, joint aching wildly.

Now 2000mg and 4 capsules after, I am feeling better and typing this post. Its 1:24 am. Kennedy drove us back home while I took another nap. I will be fine for a couple more hours.

I don’t know how Panadol Extra works but I think it reduces the pain. It deceives your brain to think you don’t feel sick anymore.

Does it really do any damage to the cause of the sickness?

Reggie, told me to do a blood test when he called. He is like a brother to me but I think I will be fine, tests can wait. I don’t have spare cash to run tests.

Managed to get a photo with the ART

Sometimes not knowing, can keep you going.

It's keeping me going…for now.
